A dental implant has to bond with the bone before the final crown goes on. That is why there is a second trip. We price both trips before you book either.
A single implant is still two trips in most cases. Your dentist uses your scan to set the gap, nearer 3 months or nearer 6.
Multiple implants are quoted per implant, then as a plan. Before you compare quotes, ask which prices are per tooth, and which are per arch. An arch is a full upper or lower row.
A full upper or lower row of teeth means All-on-4 pricing, quoted per arch, not per tooth.
